1. Who we are

Visa Path AI is operated by Fey iDeas Tech Lab ("we", "us", "our"). We act as the data controller for personal data processed through this website and product.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, hashed password or OAuth identifier.
• Profile & product data: destination country, target visa route, uploaded SOP/CV text, interview answers, saved sessions, notification preferences.
• Usage & device data: pages visited, feature interactions, IP address, browser, approximate location, timestamps.
• Support data: messages you send us and their metadata.

Payment card details are collected directly by Paddle (see Section 5). We do not store card numbers.

3. How we use your data and lawful bases

• Provide the service (create your account, run AI reviews, save sessions) — performance of contract.
• Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interests.
• Product improvement and analytics — legitimate interests.
• Customer support — performance of contract / legitimate interests.
• Immigration update alerts and marketing emails — consent (opt-in), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legal compliance — legal obligation.

4. AI processing

When you use AI features (Document Review, Interview Prep, Eligibility Checker), the text you submit is sent to our AI inference provider through the Lovable AI Gateway to generate a response. We do not use your submissions to train third-party models. Do not submit information you do not want processed by an AI model.

5. Who we share data with

• Paddle.com Market Ltd. — our Merchant of Record. Paddle receives the personal and payment data necessary to process your purchase, manage subscriptions, calculate tax, issue invoices, and handle refunds.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our database, authentication, and file storage.
• AI inference providers for the AI features described above.
• Email delivery providers for transactional and opt-in notification emails.
• Analytics providers for aggregate product analytics.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
• Authorities where required by law.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside your country of residence, including the United States and the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.

7. Retention

We keep account and profile data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Uploaded documents and AI outputs are retained until you delete them or delete your account. Aggregated, non-identifying data may be retained indefinitely.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, email privacy@feyideastechlab.com. We aim to respond within one month.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging, to protect your personal data. No online service is fully secure — please use a strong, unique password and enable available account safeguards.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the service. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

We may update this notice. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or by email.
